Your personal details are collected when you enter them in the checkout page of this website. We use them mainly to be able to deliver to you the product/s you have ordered.

When you enter your details, they are transferred to our third party service provider, GTI Response Ltd who will process your order and payment, and undertake all packaging, delivery and customer service on ScottishPower’s behalf. Your card details will be processed in real time by Protx which is a fully secured and PCI compliant payment gateway and your payment card details will NOT be retained by GTI or ScottishPower. Any name and address details retained are protected by 128 bit (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. GTI are fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. And although they handle these processes on our behalf, it is ScottishPower’s responsibility to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act at all times.

GTI will keep your details secure and will meet the same high standards of data security as ScottishPower. Your order will be packaged and labelled at GTI before being picked up by Royal Mail for delivery to you.

We may also use information about your age and any benefits you receive to determine whether you are entitled to free or discounted products under the Government’s Carbon Emission Reduction Target Scheme.

We will use the contact details you have provided to tell you about new products and services offered by the Webshop if you have agreed to us doing so. For the avoidance of doubt, your agreement to contact from the Webshop is separate from any other preferences you have notified to ScottishPower about your agreement to receive details of products and services from us.
